Volleyball Serves Another Ace in Tournament
The Prattville Lady Lions have proven their skills at their tournament this past Saturday, finishing with an impressive record of 5-0. The team defeated all opponents, including Maplesville, Billingsley, Chilton County, and Jemison High School, with a consistent score of 2-0 in each match before defeating Chilton County 2-0 in the championship match. This strong performance elevates Prattville's overall record to an impressive 14-2 for the season. The Lady Lions demonstrated effective teamwork and communication throughout the tournament, which contributed to their success against a variety of competitors.
Coach Tynesha Adams praised her team's efforts, stating, “I’m so proud of our girls from this weekend! We worked together as a team and kept our morale high throughout every match. The support these girls have for one another is truly special. Team chemistry can be hard to build, but the bond this group has created has been unmatched. They genuinely enjoy competing for and alongside one another, and that shows every time they step onto the court." Meredyth Bruce was named the tournament MVP for her outstanding performance, while Katelyn Ferguson, Kelsey Allen, and Reagan Green earned spots on the All-Tournament Team. The Lady Lions will look to continue their success as they face Chilton County on Tuesday, September 1st.
